About us
Bikap is a Portuguese e-bike assembly factory mainly dedicated to the mid and high-end segments. We are qualified to assemble any type of bike, like cargo or special micro-mobility solutions.
Our purpose
Empower our people to provide products and services of the highest quality and with maximum efficiency.
We believe that our success is deeply linked to the well-being and growth of the team and to the uncompromising commitment to deliver high quality in everything we do.
Through a culture of transparency, continuous improvement and a focus on efficiency, we aim to exceed the expectations of customers, partners and stakeholders, by fostering a workplace that encourages innovation, collaboration and personal development.
History
We were born in 2021 with the main idea of providing customers a different service, not limited to the assembly, but promoting a deeper cooperation and transparency that lead to shared benefits.
Starting with one assembly line, our plan is to grow step by step, adding capacity without sacrificing service levels and quality. You will find high levels of technology integration, IT and quality, and above all a qualified team with extensive know-how in the bike industry.
Team
Although we are an industrial start-up, the BIKAP management team has wide experience in many industrial areas, like automotive, wind energy and aeronautics, which brings valuable knowledge and best practices. Our experience goes beyond the bike industry.
The operational team includes people with vast experience in e-bike assembly and in high-end conventional bikes of well-known brands, as well as new projects:
- Setup and management of a brand-new, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Portugal.
